I have always been interested in the bridge between STEM and art and have been searching for the right way to combine these fields since I can remember. I discovered computer science through COMP110 and fell in love with it and the ability I had to express my creativity in a scientific way.

“new” in Java. Being able to create and construct things in code is exciting!!
I’ve never found something more enthralling than thinking of an idea, writing some code, and bringing it to life. There’s an aspect of building and creating in computer science that is innately rewarding. Designing solutions to problems for myself and others is what really keeps me coming back to programming and computer science. I love this stuff and I love teaching it just as much or more.

There are just so many different ways to solve problems in CS. It allows for a ton of creativity and experimentation in making a vision into a working program. For me, that feeling of running a program that you built from the ground up is just so rewarding.
